Jordan will start DST one month early

2021-09-24

The government of Jordan has decided that daylight saving time in Jordan will start at the end of February instead of at the end of March.

The new rule states that daylight saving time will start at 24:00 on the last Thursday of February (which is effectively 00:00 on the following Friday).

The switch from daylight saving time to standard time will happen at 01:00 on the last Friday of October, as previously scheduled.

The Kingdom of Jordan has one time zone, keeping Arabia Standard Time (AST / UTC +2) during the winter, and Arabia Daylight Time (ADT / UTC +3) during the summer.
